Vestas' CEO awarded millions in transfer bonus

There were bonus payouts for the OEM's entire staff in 2019 – but most at the top, for which Vestas broke its own guidelines and awarded CEO Henrik Andersen a total remuneration package of EUR 3.9 million for five months of work.

After one year's omission, there's another round of bonus payments for all Vestas' personnel. A total exceeding 25,000 staff employed at the wind turbine maker were able to share EUR 107 million between themselves as a pat on the shoulder for having achieved the targets set for production, deliveries, order intake and financial results, shows Vestas' annual statement from published Wednesday.
