Vestas debuts big turbine model in Sweden

A well-known customer puts Vestas on Sweden's big stage by purchasing Enventus wind turbines.

Stena Renewable has ordered seven units of Vestas' largest turbine model. Prior to operationalization in Q4 2021, the wind OEM will deliver V162-5.6 MW turbines to project Riskebo in Swedish municipality Hedemora. Aside from supply, installation and commissioning, Vestas has secured a 30-year service contract, type AOM 5000, the turbine maker informs.
