UK asset manager launches major green fund

Greencoat Capital has launched a new fund that already has GBP 277 million in commitments. The fund will carry out green investments in UK-based assets, including the purchase of CIP's biomass plant.

GBP 130 million have already been invested via a new close-ended private markets fund, Greencoat Renewable Income, which is banking on ventures in solar, wind and bioenergy, Greencoat Capital informs in a press statement.
