Taiwanese offshore wind projects secure major credit guarantees

A string of banks and six export credit institutions, including the Danish Export Credit Agency (EKF), now put their weight behind CIP's two offshore wind farms in Taiwan's waters with a guarantee worth DKK 2.5 billion.

Friday last week, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners received the signature of the final lender backing offshore wind projects Changfang and Xidao in Taiwanese waters. A total of 25 local and international banks and other financial institutions underwrote the investment with approximately USD 3 billion – a sum also backed by the Danish Export Credit Agency (EKF).
