Total acquires Danish wind developer

The oil company is taking over Global Wind Power and Fred. Olsen Renewables' French development company, including its employees.

Total is one step closer to its ambition of becoming a global player within renewable energy. Through its subsidiary Total Quadran, Total has acquired Global Wind Power France from Danish developer Global Wind Power and Norway's Fred. Olsen Renewables, informs Total.
