Vestas fires 400 workers in Denmark

In a cost-cutting move, the OEM fires staff from several facilities in Denmark, mainly in Aarhus and Lem, and closes the temporary plant in Viborg. Management takes a minor pay cut for the year.

Vestas is once again laying off personnel in Denmark. The wind turbine maker fires around 400 workers, primarily in Denmark, where the redundancies hit especially hard at the Aarhus headquarters and the blade factory in Lem.
