Statkraft omits Norwegian assets from renewable energy divestments

The utility will henceforth retain ownership of fewer renewable energy projects, says CEO Christian Rynning-Tønnesen and informs that Statkraft will mainly divest solar and wind assets in Spain, Ireland, Brazil and the UK.

Statkraft wrote in its latest quarterly interim report that it aims to install 9 GW in renewable capacity ahead of 2025 – but will use fewer resources in doing so.
