Europe's biggest onshore wind project complete

The last turbine has been installed at Geitfjellet, Norway, whereby all 277 units of the Fosen Vind complex of 1,057 MW are now operational.

Statkraft could well have feared much worse conditions for installing wind turbines than those seen thus far in 2020, when massive amounts of snow and internal travel restrictions in Norway owed to Covid-19 have rendered working conditions more than unusually tough.
