Vestas bags four orders in Poland

Vestas secures a Polish order for 36 MW from Elawan Energy pertaining to four projects the developer won the right to establish following an auction in the country during December 2019, Vestas informs in a statement.

The wind turbine manufacturer writes that it has taken in orders for more than 1.5 GW from Poland since the country introduced its auction system in 2018.

Vestas will supply three V110-2.0MW turbines to project Wloszakowice, three model V100-2.0MW units to Kleby-Golczwo, two V110-2.0MW to Wronczyn as well as ten V100-2.0MW units to Werbkowice.

The contract includes a ten-year service agreement, type AOM 4000, and turbine delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2022.
