Siemens Gamesa secures huge controversial order

The wind turbine manufacturer has signed the first, largest and, politically speaking, most problematic firm order in a North African portfolio entailing 850 MW.

In recent days, Siemens Gamesa has sent out a series of press releases on several new orders. However, even though the wind turbine manufacturer informs of yet another large supply contract on Wednesday consisting of 87 model SG 3.4-132 units, the news only surfaced via a notice to the Spanish stock market.
