Norwegian developer closing in on nearshore wind farm

In its ambition to develop 2.5 GW of offshore wind in Sweden, Cloudberry secures investor for a coastal offshore wind farm in the country.

September saw Cloudberry Clean Energy announcing grand plans. Though having traditionally mostly dabbled in small hydroelectric and wind facilities, the Norwegian project developer launched an ambition to establish 2.5 GW in Swedish offshore wind capacity, coinciding with its acquisition of Scanvind2, the holding company behind nearshore project Rewind Vänern in Sweden's biggest lake.
