Wind beats coal in Texas power generation

The state of Texas, otherwise known as the home of the US oil and gas sector, has increased its number of wind turbines.

2020 saw wind energy surpassing coal in electricity generation for the first time in the US state of Texas, which is otherwise known to favor fossil fuels, reports Financial Times.
