Vineyard Wind annuls construction plan withdrawal

Despite selecting a new wind turbine model, the construction plan remains unchanged, thereby allowing the federal agency to resume processing the application, the joint venture says, adding that it still expects to take its FID this year.

The US' Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) can now pick up where it left off last month in processing Vineyard Wind, says Avangrid and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' joint venture, Vineyard Wind, which tells BOEM Monday that its request to withdraw its construction and operating plan (COP) is now annulled.
