Poland has allocated contracts for its Baltica offshore wind farms to be located in the country's Baltic Sea waters. These two facilities go by the names of Baltica 2 and 3, and both will be developed, installed and operated by an equally owned joint venture comprised of Ørsted and Polish power company PGE.
The country's energy authorities have alloted the projects via a Contract for Difference auction with a price cap set at PLN 319.6 (EUR 69.95) per MWh.
