Siemens Gamesa gains 301-MW order from India

The German-Spanish OEM will supply 87 wind turbines to an undisclosed customer in the South Asian country.

Siemens Gamesa just taken in a contract to supply is hardware to a wind farm located in Hombal, India, reports Bloomberg News citing a document from the country's public authorities.

The orders consists of 87 SG 3.4MW-145'ers.

According to the media release, the customer prefers to remain anonymous.

The project is set to commission in March of 2023.
