Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has received a firm and unconditional order for 923 MW from Accione Energia in Australia.

The German OEM will supply its hardware to a project called MacIntyre, the turbine maker informs in a media release.

In mid-June, Nordex disclosed that it was in advanced talks pertaining to the deal.

Altogether, the group will deliver 162 model N163/5.X units from the Delta400 series.

The wind farm is located southwest of Warwick in the state of Queensland.

“This largest N163/5.X project to date once again demonstrates the global success of our Delta4000 series,” writes Nordex Chief Sales Officer Patxi Landa in a statement.

Furthermore, the manufacturer says it's negotiating another supply deal with the Australian company relating to a project called Karara of 102.6 MW.
