Japan rumored to be increasing green energy proportion

The East Asian country reportedly targets a renewables proportion of 40 percent by 2030, with solar receiving the biggest boost.

Japan aims to have close to 40 percent of its energy come from renewable sources during fiscal year 2030, reports domestic newspaper Nikkei citing no sources, according to Bloomberg News.
