CIP consortium bids on backbone of Scotland's offshore wind

A consortium comprised of Danish CIP, Scottish SSE Renewables and Japanese Marubeni has made bids on floating wind project ScotWind of 10GW, while Germany's RWE is also bidding on the licenses.

Bids on the long-awaited licenses for ScotWind, the first Scottish offshore wind licenses in a decade, are now being announced after the tender's closure on Friday.
