Vestas has received an order to deliver wind turbines to two projects in the US with combined capacity of 189MW, the Danish OEM informs in a press release late Thursday morning.

The contract was awarded from Ontario-based developer and utility Algonquin Power, which will install the machines at projects Deerfield 2 in Michigan and Sandy Ridge 2 in Pennsylvania.

The turbines stem from Vestas' EnVentus platform and are projected to enter operation during the fourth quarter of 2022.

Both contracts also entail a 10-year service agreement.
