SSE Renewables consolidates two offshore wind proposals into single "super project"

To accelerate the installation of offshore wind farms Berwick and Marr Bank, SSE Renewables proposes combining the two into a single "superproject" of 4.1GW.

Berwick Bank Wind Farm is the proposed name of the consolidated development off the eastern coast of Scotland. With a possible effect totaling 4.1GW, the project could boost Scottish renewable capacity by almost 30 percent.
