Norwegian gigawatt wind project ruled invalid

The establishment of project Fosen Vind violated United Nations conventions, rules the Supreme Court of Norway on Monday. The gigawatt-class wind complex, both the largest wind farm in Norway and the biggest onshore wind project in Europe, violates the right of Sami reindeer herders to practice their culture, according to a unanimous verdict by the highest court in the nation.
