Chinese firm buys third Danish wind subsupplier

Danish Blade Service is being acquired by China's market leader within blade inspection, Clobotics. This gives us the opportunity to expand the business globally, says CEO.

Consolidation continues in the wind industry's supply chain. Clobotics, whose offerings include drone inspections of onshore and offshore wind turbines, announces on Thursday its purchase of Danish Blade Service for an undisclosed price. The deal is set to close early next year and now includes both the Danish blade repair company's staff of technicians as well as owners Brian Bendixsen and Lars Andersen.
