Vattenfall saves money with new type of erosion protection

With a simpler method of protecting the seabed around wind turbines against erosion, Vattenfall has cut related costs by almost a third at Kriegers Flak.

Using a new method, Swedish utility Vattenfall has cut 30 percent of its costs for protecting against seabed erosion around offshore wind turbines at Kriegers Flak, neighboring Denmark's largest offshore wind farm.
