Prysmian acquires partner

The Italian cable producer is taking over the rest of its Polish partner.

Prysmian has acquired the remaining 70 percent of Polish partner Eksa after already holding a 30-percent stake, writes Bloomberg News.

Since 2006, Prysmian has owned interest in Eksa, which has distributed Prysmian cables in Poland since 2002.

The Italian company's share price is virtually unchanged at EUR 33.44 on the Italian stock exchange in Milan.
