OX2 seeks license for 1.8GW Swedish offshore wind

The Swedish developer has submitted an application for offshore wind project Triton, planned to feature up to 129 turbines.

Late last year, Swedish renewables developer OX2 announced having applied for a Natura 2000 permit in order to develop offshore wind farm Triton. Now the company is following that up by requesting approval to install the facility pursuant to international legislation on Sweden’s economic zone off the southernmost region of Skåne.
