Trønderenergi and Hitecvision form joint RE venture

Through the joint venture, the two companies will hunt out new opportunities in renewables and energy technology.

Power company Trønderenergi is joining forces with infrastructure fund Hitecvision for a new venture with a focus on renewables.

Ownership will be split evenly between Hitecvision and a holding company, 51 percent of which is held by Trønderenergi, while the remaining 49 percent interest belongs to Trønderenergi’s owners.

81-percent ownership of Trønderenergi’s hydropower portfolio as well 41-percent ownership of grid company Tensio will reside with Trønderenergi, while the remaining activities will move to the new venture.

”This includes ownership and operations in wind energy, energy management and energy services, properties as well as the remaining 19 percent of Trøndenergi’s hydropower portfolio. Hitecvision will contribute with new growth capital corresponding to the value of the companies being transferred from Trønderenergi,” the company writes.
