The Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas will supply turbines to the Scottish 36MW Greengairs East project, which is being set up by developer Muirhall Energy Limited.

Vestas will provide eight V136-4.5MW turbines to the project.

”We are pleased to begin our partnership with Muirhall Energy with Greengairs East, the first project in the UK benefitting from our recently released V136-4.5 MW variant. In combination with a long-term service agreement, this ensures maximum value for our customer’s business case,” says Vestas’ Vice President for Sales North & West, Juan Furones.

The turbines are slated for delivery and installation in the fourth quarter of 2022.
