Maersk Supply Service confirms major investment in wind installation ship

Maersk Supply Service is to use a newbuild order for a wind turbine installation vessel of probably USD 350m in a contract with oil companies Equinor and BP on the US market.

Maersk Supply Service now confirms that the company, which for a long time has been in the process of leaving the oil and gas sector, intends to enter the offshore wind segment as a ”major contractor.”
