Floating Power Plant to power oil platforms

Together with partner Technip FMC, the Danish company will explore the opportunities for oil platforms to harness green energy from wind, waves and hydrogen.

An undisclosed UK oil operator has tasked Floating Power Plant and Technip FMC with carrying out a study into the possibilities of supplying green energy to oil facilities in the North Sea using wind and wave energy as well as hydrogen.
