Nordex bags Peruvian order for 113MW

The order comes from Spanish project developer Acciona Energia for 23 turbines from the Delta4000 series.

German turbine maker Nordex has received an order from Peru for 113MW, the company announces.

The customer is Spanish project developer Acciona Energia, which has ordered 23 unites of the N163/5.X variety from the Delta4000 series.

This marks the first order from Peru for the turbine model with a 163m blade, but Nordex’ third order for turbines in Peru.

Nordex completed the first order for 132MW in 2018 while construction is underway on the second for 177MW.
