
Monday, Siemens Gamesa’s country manager for Brazil, Felipe Ferres, announced some good news – or at least moderately good news. In an interview with Reuters, he explained that the turbine maker had begun installing the 6.2MW turbines at the first Brazilian wind farm, Tucano.
The flipside is that these 52 turbines at the Tucano site were originally slated for operation in 2021.
