NKT has several cards to play in case of expansion

The Danish cable maker is currently considering options for expanding production and how to finance such a push. It could come about through a divestment of its Photonics division.

Earlier this week, there were reports that NKT is currently exploring its options for further capital injections to fund its expansion plans. However, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Raising additional capital is certainly one option when planning to invest in a bigger production set-up, but many nuances are lost along the way, says Chief Financial Officer of NKT Line Andrea Fandrup.
