Ørsted issues green bonds totaling EUR 1.35bn

Ørsted has issued green bonds totaling EUR 1.35bn, the company informs in a press release Tuesday.

The issuance is intended to finance the company’s global build-out of renewable energy and help realize its green growth ambition of 50GW installed capacity by 2030, the utility reports.

The issuance comprises two tranches of fixed rate bonds.

The first tranche consists of bonds of nominal EUR 600m, priced at 99.562% of the nominal amount. The bond comes with a coupon rate of 2.25% and is set to mature in June 2028.

The second tranche consists of bonds of nominal EUR 750m, priced at 99.562% of the nominal amount. The bond comes with a coupon rate of 2.875% and is set to mature in June 2033.
