Vestas wins Italian order

Vestas has won an order to supply 101MW to a project in Italy, the company writes in a statement.

The contract entails delivery and installation of 24 model V136-4.2MW units to wind project Mineo Militello Vizzini located on Sicily. The deal also includes a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 agreement.

Italian independent power producer ERG, which specializes in renewables, has placed the order.

Turbine delivery is set to conclude in the second quarter of 2023, with commissioning scheduled to take place in the second half of 2023.
