Nordex nets large order in Brazil

German turbine manufacturer Nordex has put pen to paper on a large order in the Brazilian market.

Nordex will deliver wind turbines for the Feijão project totaling 456MW in capacity.

The order also comes with a 20-year service agreement, Nordex informs in a press release.

Nordex will provide 80 N163/5.X turbines for the project, and delivery and installation are slated for fall next year.

The Feijão is a combined solar and wind project with a total capacity of 586MW, according to Nordex.
