
Ørsted is now ready to service its offshore wind turbines in Taiwanese waters from the utility’s brand new operations and maintenance (O&M) hub for offshore wind, the Danish utility informs in a media release.
The facility is located at the Port of Taichung and was set up to keep the four wind farms of Greater Changhua totaling roughly 2.4GW in fine working order, with the hub thus serving as the base of O&M operations, ensuring electricity generation, and overseeing work safety for deployed technicians.
