KK Wind's revenue to rise with EUR 670m after buying Vestas unit

The company’s largest acquisition to data will not only make KK Wind Solutions Vestas’ exclusive partner, but also provides the supplier with a Chinese market entry – also making it easier and cheaper to source components, says CEO.

Since A.P. Møller Holding purchased KK Wind Solutions in 2019, the converter manufacturer has been expanding its business – with some organic growth but also by acquiring Gram & Juhl, PCH Engineering, and most recently Convertec. Even so, with the purchase of Vestas’ converter and control systems unit, KK Wind Solutions has now taken a quantum leap of an entirely new dimension.
