Cadeler calls for political action promoting offshore wind

The Danish offshore carrier urges supportive policy, but the company’s chief executive is nevertheless confident in plans for Baltic offshore wind.

Major plans for expanding offshore wind capacity in the Baltic Sea are attracting praise from by offshore service operator Cadeler, which could end up playing an active role in the projects.

But political action is required to get the process started, says Cadeler CEO Mikkel Gleerup to ShippingWatch.
