Siemens Gamesa completes sale to SSE

The German-Spanish wind turbine manufacturer has now divested its southern European portfolio of development projects, which the the British utility has bought for EUR 613m.

In spring, turbine maker Siemens Gamesa reported to have inked a deal with SSE Renewables for a takeover of the Spanish-German company’s project development division.
