A huge boom in employment is by all indications coming to the global wind industry in the next few years, according to a report drawn up by Global Wind Energy Council, GWEC, and Global Wind Organisation, reports Recharge News.

Towards 2026, the number of technicians in the wind industry will grow by a third to 570,000, the parties conclude in the report.

On the capacity side, the global wind market is expected to grow by 67%, which will require extra hands to set up and maintain the added capacity.
