Denmark signs deal on statistical transfer of renewable energy to Luxembourg

With a third agreement on statistical transfer, Denmark receives another EUR 31m for solar, wind and biomass in excess of the EU target. The government will invest the funds in renewables.

Luxembourg failed to meet the EU target on renewable energy in 2020. In a similar context, the smallest country in the EU doesn’t expect to reach the target of covering 25% of the nation’s consumption with green power by 2030.
