TotalEnergies to join Brazilian wind venture

The French oil firm pays USD 550m for a 34% share of a 12 GW wind and solar portfolio of Casa dos Ventos.

Casa dos Ventos, a repeat Vestas customer, will no longer be alone in developing its massive portfolio of Brazilian projects all on its own. Instead, the developer will be joined in future by TotalEnergies, which has bought a 34% share of Ventos’s portfolio, a press release announces.
