Goldwind and China Three Gorges unveil 16MW turbine

The two Chinese companies’ first nacelle for a new 16MW turbine has just rolled off the assembly line at their plant in Fujian.

No more than a month ago, Chinese turbine maker Goldwind and state-owned utility China Three Gorges pulled the wraps off an offshore turbine with capacity of 13.6MW. Now the two companies are taking things to the next level with a nacelle customized for a 16MW offshore turbine.
