RWE acquires Irish offshore wind developer
The German utility is expanding its offshore wind portfolio through a new acquisition, which adds nearly 1GW.

RWE is on the hunt for more offshore wind, and now the German utility has intensified efforts through an acquisition of Irish developer Western Power Offshore Development, which is in the early stages of developing the East Celtic Wind Farm project off the Irish coast.
