The next batch of US offshore wind developments now moves closer to installation. The US Federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has thus sent drafted environmental impact statements for both Coastal Virginia Wind (CVOW) and Sunrise Wind to a 60-day public consultation, marking an important administrative phase of efforts to have built more than 4GW of wind at sea in 2026.
