Eni subsidiary finds partner for 2.4GW floating wind

Plenitude, fully owned by the Rome-headquartered oil major, joins forces with Ireland’s Simply Blue to develop two floating wind projects off the coast of Italy.

Eni’s renewable energy subsidiary, Plenitude, has allied itself with Irish developer Simply Blue for joint development of two floating wind farms in the waters of the latter’s domestic market.
