EDF Renewables acquires Australian offshore wind project

French utility EDF Renewables ventures into the Australian offshore wind sector with a purchase of a local project.

Newcastle Offshore Wind Farm has taken on new ownership after EDF Renewables’ local division in Australia has bought the project, which is still under development, the company informs.
