Vestas making strides through red terrain

The wind turbine manufacturer maintains guidance - even with a slight upward adjustment from the continued gold mine - despite a quarterly loss of EUR 130m.

In the realm of the blind, the one-eyed man rules king. The saying can be applied to Vestas, coming out of the second quarter of the year with a loss of EUR 130 million (DKK 969 million) before tax. However, compared to not only the recent Siemens Gamesa report, but also to itself, Vestas is not doing all that bad.
