Vestas bags Canadian order

Vestas has secured a 140 megawatt wind turbine contract in Canada, the Danish OEM announces on Tuesday

As part of the agreement, the company will deliver 31 V150-4.5 MW turbines.

The turbines will be installed in the Halkirk II wind project owned by Capital Power.

Delivery is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2024 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of the same year.

The parties have also agreed on a ten-year service contract.
