Earnings at Swedish wind farm developer Eolus continue to grow, and in the most recent quarter, the wind farm developer broke a record.

This is according to the company’s financial report for the second quarter of this year. Revenue has grown from SEK 1.45bn in 2022’s second quarter to SEK 1.74bn in the latest quarter.

Operating profit has more than doubled in the same period from SEK 220m to the latest SEK 517m. This has a direct impact on the bottom line, which has also almost doubled to SEK 422m.

The increase is due to the project disposals, as wind projects Skallberget/Utterberget, Tjärnäs and Rosenskog have all been divested.

As a result, Eolus now has wind farm projects with a total capacity of 817MW - down from 912MW.

Conversely, Eolus has made an investment decision for the 100MW Pome battery storage project in the US and signed an agreement for the delivery of a battery storage system.
